The first part of the game is finally done, so it's time for the promised update! I originally planned to finish much sooner, but as it turns out, life and overblown ambitions happen along the way, so here we are, slightly behind an imaginary schedule. So what did I actually do in the past three months?

Here's a few impressions, but there's actually a lot more to be found. Including Nixxxy's room, which was part of the demo and only needed some adjustments, the Nymphon area consists of five main rooms, most of which are quite large. All of these rooms are now completely finished, along with the main logic to get through this part of the game and all sorts of minor activities. With the original demo, I already covered many mechanics I wanted in the game, but working through this real part of the game forced me to implement the missing parts, such as non-standard game overs and an actual way to end the game. The Nymphon is also the largest part of the game in sheer size, so, when adding up all the mechanical behind the scenes stuff, and the actual ingame areas, this first part likely covers 60-70% of the entire game, if not more!



A lot of work got done in the past month or so, which brings me to my big goal: I'm planning to finish the game by the first half of May. That will mark about a year of development, which is probably enough for a small game I wanted to make just for the fun of it. Will I be able to finish in about three months? Probably not, but I like to take impossible challenges. So please wish me luck and cheer me on!
This brings us to the end of this almost entirely useless update. I also have a Twitter, Mastodon and Bluesky account now, on which I post small updates pretty regularly, so if you are interested at all, give me a follow or even just a shoutout! Honestly, having three of these seems very redundant.
